J.O.S Solicitors receives Seven Nominations for Irish Law Awards 2019
For the third year running, Jason O’ Sullivan, Solicitor and Public Affairs Consultant at the Galway and Dublin based law firm J.O.S Solicitors have been shortlisted as finalists in the prestigious Irish Law Awards for 2019.
This year, both Jason and the firm have been nominated as finalists in an impressive seven categories:
- Connacht/Ulster & Munster Employment Law Firm/Team/Lawyer of the Year
- Connacht/Ulster Litigation Law Firm/Lawyer of the Year
- Connacht/Ulster Lawyer of the Year
- Connacht/Ulster Law Firm of the Year
- Sole Practitioner of the Year Award
- Excellence in Marketing & Communications
- Law Firm Innovation Award
Jason was awarded “Connacht/Ulster Sole Practitioner/Sole Principal of the Year” at last year’s Irish Law Awards 2018.
Now in its 8th year, these awards aim to identify, honour, and publicise outstanding achievements and recognise excellence in the Irish legal profession. The awards witnessed a 20% increase in entries this year, with over 100 Irish legal firms entering across the different categories.
The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 14th June at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin with TV and radio broadcaster Ivan Yeats hosting the illustrious event.
Jason qualified as a solicitor in 2007. He practised for a number of years as an Associate Solicitor in Dublin, specialising in Employment Law, Commercial and Civil Litigation. Combining his skill and passion for law and politics, Jason then paved out a successful career in Public Affairs and Lobbying, before setting up his own law practice J.O.S Solicitors in 2015.
With offices in both Galway and Dublin, J.O.S Solicitors is innovative in its approach providing a selective offering of specialist legal services for business and private clients in the areas of Employment Law, Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Medical Negligence, Defamation and Personal Injury Litigation. The firm also uniquely offers Public Affairs and Lobbying services at a local, national and European level.
Since establishing the firm, Jason has become a regular opinion writer on legal and political issues for the Irish Independent and the Journal.ie, as well as making regular media contributions and guest appearances on national TV and Radio.
